Prescription drugs are often recommended for those who experience recurring yeast infections. However, doctors are not enthusiastic with this form of remedy since this will only increase the immunity of the yeast infection to various drugs.
Recurring yeast infection during pregnancy is also a possibility. Because of the weak immune system, yeast infection will most likely happen. When yeast infection during pregnancy happens, rushing to take various OTC (Over the Counter) medications is not recommended. Doctor’s approval should be sought even for simplest OTC drugs.
